Join us for some exciting and educational basic Sushi Making class!

Ben started exploring Japanese Cuisine while attending college at his friends Teppanyaki Restaurant in LA, where he apprenticed for 1.5 years as a Sous Chef before becoming a Sushi Chef himself.

This is a great event any person who wants to know more about sushi. No sushi making experience is necessary!

We will cover Sushi Basics and you will learn:
- Tools needed for the Kitchen
- Basic Knife Skills (cutting Fish + Veggies)
- Making Sushi Rice
- Making Dashi + Miso
- Maki + Uramaki (Rice inside + Rice outside)
- Temaki (Hand Rolls)
- Nigiri + Variations

While we learn, I will also share my local knowledge in:
- Where to find ingredients
- How to choose quality Fish and Veggies per Season
- Importance of Sustainability and Environmental Care
