About the Chef

Shadow embarked on her Chinese cuisine journey in 2010 in the pursuit of traditional Chinese and Hong Kong culture through food tasting and cooking. She was inspired by her first pastry teacher, Master Wen Fuan, who was the former chief chef of the Hang Heung Cake Shop, a traditional Chinese pastry shop operating since 1920 in China, which relocated to Yuen Long in Hong Kong. Shadow started consistent practice and continues to upgrade her technical know-how on traditional Chinese cuisine through learning from various Chinese Master chiefs around Greater China. These include Master Zhou, the former Executive Chef in The Peninsula Hong Kong, famous for their milky and traditional moon cakes, and Master Tsang Chiu Yong, Chief Chef of Chinese Pastries at the Regent Hotel in Taiwan.
