Joel's love for food and cooking has led him to work in numerous famous kitchens from around the globe. In Sydney he worked for Tetsuya's (ex 4th ranked restaurant in the S.Pellegrino Best Restaurants List). In Paris he worked with Alain Ducasse at his bistro and 3 Michelin star restaurant at the Plaza Athenee, as well as with Inaki Aizpitarte at Le Chateaubriand (both ex top 20 ranked restaurants in S.Pellegrino Best Restaurants List). In Denmark he assisted in the opening of BROR, a restaurant opened by two former sous chefs from NOMA.

Most recently he has helped start SUPAFOOD - Hong kong's first organic fast food outlet and is responsible for sourcing the best organic produce from around the world. His goal is to encourage more people to eat better from the ground roots up and has recently started delivering traceable organic produce to families through his online platform www.farmerporter.com
